- The James Project is a ministry founded by Jeff Burns and Faith Fellowship Church of Newdale, North Carolina. Jeff is a former flight paramedic and has been a sales representative for EMS*USA for over ten years. While on a mission trip to Cuba, Jeff was given the visions for this ministry. The "JESUS Ambulance & Medical Equipment Service" project was developed.
The JAMES project mission is to provide EMS and rescue equipment and training to communities mainly, but not limited to, third world countries and developing nations. The "JAMES" project relies on donations from the EMS community to support this worthwhile endeavor. EMS*USA and many of its suppliers have donated both disposable and durable products to the project.
The "JAMES" project relies heavily on donations of used and new equipment from the EMS providers. EMS ( Public & Private), Fire Departments, Rescue Squads, Community Colleges and private individuals have all made valuable contributions to the project. Contributions ranging from suction units to used ambulances have been provided to third world communities, whom without the ministry would have no medical care.
In addition to equipment and supplies the "James" project coordinates training and medical campaigns. Christian personnel who are currently functioning as Flight Medics, Flight Nurses, Paramedics, EMTs and Staff Nurses provide the nationals instruction in Basic Life Support skills, and ambulance operation, as well as medical and dental campaigns.
